My name is Tawny Roberts, a single mother and Founder of a 501c3 Non Profit, Mama Haven. My Organization was created to help support and nurture struggling single parents throughout the greater Los Angeles & Ventura Counties. As a Thousand Oaks native and single parent, the recent tragedies throughout Southern California has connected Mama Haven with hundreds of families that have lost everything, including the roof over their heads, or even a loved one.
Rising From The Ashes is a community of loving and generous individuals and entities from around the world coming together to create a FREE Pop Up Market & Honorary Dinner, for those affected by the Woolsey Fire and Borderline Shooting. We are a community of companies, musicians, artists and restaurants, who have come together in the face of adversity to help create a day of love and new memories for our families in need.
It is our mission to humbly welcome families affected by both tragedies, to a Fundraiser that provides them with a Complimentary Honorary Dinner, and gives them access to a Day Time Market where they can obtain clothing, furniture, gifts and donations from people all around the world.
We know our Borderline Family has been dancing in parking lots and outdoor malls; today we have a home for you!
Line dancing from 11am-4pm & 8pm-11pm
How can you help?
By attending our Pop-Up Market and Fundraiser!
General Admission is $10 for Adults (purchase tickets at the door) and includes access to LIVE Music, Entertainment, Food Trucks & Vendors.
Anyone affected by the Fires, receives access to our 'Rising From The Ashes' Reassignment Store, where they can browse thousands of donations that include lightly worn, washed clothing, furniture, school supplies and more, that they can take, free of charge.
We have teamed up with several Ventura County based Moving Companies & Storage Facilities, to not only ensure that we can transport these items for our families, but we can also store their belongings for up to 2 months at no cost.
Limited Space is available for dinner, so if you are a family in need, or suffering from a loss from our heartbreaking borderline shooting, please RSVP below to ensure your access into our Honorary Dinner.
We are here to support you during these devastating times.
